What is good writing?
"Good" writing is the ability of a work to suggest a topic and make an opinion on that topic in a way that the reader will want to agree with what the writing is about. "Good" writing has commentary but also has concrete details to back up those comments, which will further allow the author to argue their topic, and support their ideas. Also a good organization of ideas within the writing makes a piece "good" because it will allow the reader to follow exactly what the author is thinking. Logically, "good" writing is clean of grammatical and spelling errors, because with these errors the reader might get bogged down in them and not be able to concentrate on the main point of the work. The point of writing is to suggest an opinion on a particular comment and good writing does this effectively so that the reader will agree with what the opinion is.
